Projects usually require a team to share files. This can
become a headache, and even embarrassing, if multiple unmanaged copies are
flying around in emails with no central change control facility. An
excellent solution involves a combination of Small Business Server,
Office 2010, and SharePoint,
working together to allow office files (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) to be
posted to a central site on the company intranet. Each version is kept and
changes marked, allowing all team members to work on the latest version
whilst still being able to see the original document.
Exchange 2010 also facilitates group calendaring and resource diaries, allowing users to book meeting rooms, projectors etc.
